All the apartments, which accommodate two or four persons,
have lovely views over the vines. They have maintained their
rustic character and the furniture combines comfort and
elegance, many items being made for us by local craftsmen.
Each apartment has its own sitting-out area, with a table and
garden chairs. Most have either an open fireplace or stove, and
all have central heating for cooler months.
The galley kitchen includes fridge, full-size cooker with four
burners and oven, and comes fully equipped. All have
comfortable, upholstered armchairs or sofas in the lounge, a
dining table and dining chairs. |

Aquila (Eagle) 2 to 4 people
Aquila ('Eagle') is reached via an internal flight of stone steps to an arched loggia above the bread-oven porch.
It has East-facing views from its spacious living room with beamed ceiling, large open fireplace and built-in kitchen.
A small hall leads to a large bedroom with king size bed (67")(twin beds on request), and a bathroom (shower only).
Also from this hall there is access to the second large bedroom (same bedding arrangement as Bedroom 1) with its own ensuite bathroom with tub and shower.
From both bedrooms there are magnificent views south over the vineyards and woods.
It has its own stone terrace on the ground floor directly in front of it.
Cotto floor tiling throughout.

Civetta (Owl) 2 people
Civetta ("Owl") is a lst floor (US 2nd floor) apartment, entered through the loggia of our second building in the 'tower' that contains the original 14th-Century foundations of the farm.
The open-plan living room includes an open-plan kitchen and wood-burning stove.
Off this lie the bedroom, with above-queen size bed (63"), and separately the bathroom, with tub and shower, with independent space for WC + bidet.
There is a small outdoor private sitting area.
Beamed ceiling and cotto floor tiling throughout.
Rate type: B.

Giraffa (Giraffe) 2 people
Giraffa ("Giraffe") is a duplex apartment with its own ground-floor (US first floor) entrance and small stone terrace in the centre of our property down the main steps.
The open-plan living room with its beamed ceiling contains a built-in marble-top kitchen and an open fireplace.
A flight of steps leads to a small hall, one door to the bathroom with tub and shower, and separately a WC and bidet; the other door to the South-facing bedroom with king size bed (67")(twin beds on requests), set in an attractive stone arch.
There is cotto floor tiling throughout.
Rate type: C.

Istrice (Porcupine) 2 people
Istrice ("Porcupine") is on the 2nd floor (US) of the building on the right in the picture on our home page, reached via an internal flight of stone steps to an arched loggia above the bread-oven porch.
It has Eastern views across the vineyards and West-facing views across the vineyards and woods to the castle of Castellina; a very comfortable apartment though the smallest in our portfolio.
The open-plan lounge with galley kitchen has an open fireplace and beamed ceiling.
A short corridor leads to the bedroom with above-queen-size bed (63") and ensuite bathroom (shower not bath).
There is cotto floor tiling throughout.The apartment also has a private terrace under the bedroom window on the west side, as well as another table and chairs for occupants' use on the east side.
Rate type: A.

Leocorno (Unicorn) 2 to 4 people
Leocorno ("Unicorn") is a spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in the centre of our property, opposite the lounge and honour bar (both of which are in a part of the farm dating from the 14th Century).
A beautiful, very light larger apartment with its own East-side stone terrace, it is on a raised ground floor (US 1st floor) and entered via arched French windows.
The open-plan living room has a built-in marble-top kitchen and wood-burning stove.
The South-facing master bedroom, with king size bed (67")(twin beds on requests), has its own ensuite bathroom with tub and shower. A hall from the lounge leads to private quarters comprising a smaller suite of bedroom with above-queen size bed (63")and bathroom with shower.
Cotto floor tiling throughout.

Lupa (Wolf) 2 people
Lupa (the 'She-Wolf') is reached via an internal flight of stone steps to an arched loggia above the bread-oven porch.
It has West-facing views across the vineyards and woods to the castle of Castellina.
The open-plan living room (pictured on website), entered from a small mezzanine, contains a built-in kitchen with marble top and an open fireplace.
A hall separates it from the bathroom (tub and shower) and large bedroom with king size bed (67")(twin beds on request).
There is cotto floor tiling throughout.It has an outdoor private sitting area under its windows on the West side.
Rate type: C

Montone (Ram) 2 people
Montone ("Ram") is a private stand-alone cottage, South-facing with its own patio/rose garden that leads onto the lawn, leading onto the pool.
Entry is via double French doors to a separate kitchen with built-in marble-top unit, through an archway to living room with South and East windows and views over the vines, with its dining area and wood-burning stove.
There is a large sunny bedroom with king size bed (67")(twin beds on requests), and an ensuite bathroom with tub and shower.
There are beamed ceilings throughout, and the flooring is in cotto tile.
Rate type: D.

Oca (Goose) 2 people
Oca ("Goose") is a lst floor (US 2nd floor) apartment entered up a flight of steps from its own ground-floor front door.
Both the open-plan living room and the bedroom (pictured on website), with king size bed (67")(twin beds on requests), have magnificent South-facing views.
The bathroom, with tub and shower, has a North-facing window over the vines. There is a small outdoor private sitting area.
Beamed ceilings and cotto floor tiling throughout.
Rate type: B.

Pantera (Panther) 2 to 4 people
Pantera ("Panther") is a two-bedroom duplex on the West side of our property which benefits from having its own patio/terrace enclosed with vines and roses.
Entrance is from this terrace via French windows to a small mezzanine.
This leads down to the spacious living room with beamed ceiling and stone arched wall with a built-in marble-top kitchen and open fireplace (photo on website).
Three steps up from the mezzanine there is a small hall leading to a master bedroom with king size bed (67")(twin beds on requests), with its own ensuite bathroom with tub and shower.
Also on this level, quite separately there is another bedroom with above-queen size bed (63") with its own smaller bathroom (shower only).
Cotto floor tiling throughout.

Selva (Forest) 2 to 3 people
Selva ("Forest") is a ground floor apartment (US first floor) entered via French windows from its own private patio/rosegarden on the eastern side of our property.
The dining room/kitchen area leads through an archway to a separate small living room with wood-burning stove and a convertible sofa that may be used as a bed by a third person if required for a small extra charge. (For privacy, this room can be closed off from the dining room by a sliding door).
Separately, there is a master bedroom with king size bed (67")(twin beds on requests), and a separate, independent bathroom (with shower not tub) that is also accessible from the living room.
Beamed ceilings and cotto floor tiling throughout.

Tartuca (Tortoise) 2 people
Tartuca ("Tortoise"): entrance via French doors to open-plan lounge with built-in kitchen, marble top and breakfast table.
Open fireplace.
L-shaped bedroom with above-queen-size bed (63").
Ensuite bathroom (tub & shower).
It has a private terrace under the bedroom window on the West side. Beamed ceiling and cotto floor tiling throughout.
This is one of our most popular units, nice and sunny, and people have said how much they have enjoyed staying in it.
Rate type: B.

Torre (Tower) 2 people
Torre ("Tower") is a magnificent duplex apartment with panoramic views North and South over the vines.
It is entered through the loggia of our second building and created from the top of the 'tower' that contains the original 14th-Century foundations of the farm.
There is a small, separate kitchen-diner with marble topped tables which you enter immediately, then a wooden staircase leads up to the living room in the loft with its wood-burning stove and Romeo & Juliet window looking South.
The bedroom has a king size bed (67")(twin beds on requests), and has beautiful views n orth and east over the vineyards. Its ensuite bathroom has twin washbasins, a tub and shower.
There are beamed ceilings throughout, and the flooring is in cotto tile.
There are a table and chairs for guests' use in the loggia.
Rate type: D.

There is also:
- a lounge with library, satellite TV and wine bar;
- a mosaic-lined swimming pool with sun terraces;
- a computer with internet point;
- a barbecue and covered pergola with picnic table;
- a covered loggia, a public phone and a small laundry;
